Starting a Return
Before we jump right into a return, you will be offered technical assistance from our expert team of accessory installers. A technical solution is often the best way to get you moving right away. That said, sometimes things are just not going to work out. In these cases our technical assistance will often help to expedite the returns process and/or allow us to get you parts much faster. Terms of Sale
Contract Agreement
By placing an order with us you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Sale. Due to the many factors beyond our control such as environmental conditions, user installation, and tampering INITSHOP does not take responsibility for rack fitment, security, or damages caused. Proper fitment and security of products purchased is the sole responsibility of the customer. Please read these Terms of Sale; they are important. If you do not agree to these Terms of Sale, do not place an order.
Return Policy
Unless otherwise noted, INITSHOP will fully refund all new items within 30 days of the original product shipping date.
The Fine Print
Items must be returned with the original box, packaging, and manuals.
Refunds may only be credited back to the original purchaser and to the original funding source.
Returns after the 30 day period will not be accepted by INITSHOP Items to be returned after the 30 day period must be authorized by the manufacturer of the product in accordance with their policies.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the original purchaser to ensure that returns are adequately packaged, insured, and tracked.
All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the original purchaser unless INITSHOP was at fault* (in which case we will organize shipping labels for your return).
*At Fault Returns are returns where INITSHOP sent the wrong item, the shipment was missing parts or the item did not show up within our promised delivery window.
Pricing adjustments, guarantees and price matching is not considered an at fault return. Closeout/clearance/demo items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
All packages refused by the customer are subject to terms and conditions of our return policy plus any additional return shipping costs charged to us by the shipping company.
All refused cargo box shipments are subject to an additional $100 transportation fee, which will be charged to the customer's credit card.
Return claims for factory defects, missing parts or otherwise must be presented to INITSHOP within 30 days of delivery.
Refunds are then authorized after photos are received by INITSHOP.
Items received back with damaged or unusable packaging will be subject to additional fees up to 25% of the original purchase price.
Items received back with signs of use, damaged or materially different will not be refunded.
No warranty is given for defects caused by wear and tear, scratches, accidents, modifications or any types of repair and use other than those authorized by the manufacturer.
No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond the manufacturer's control including, but not limited to, tampering, misuse, overloading, or failure to assemble, mount or use the product in accordance with instructions or guidelines.
INITSHOP does not warranty, under any circumstances, damage to other products or property.
The buyer and/or related parties shall not be entitled to recover any special, incidental, or consequential damages.
Damage to a purchaser's property or other person or property is excluded.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure products are safely secured at all times.
The customer agrees that they are solely responsible to regularly check all connections and hardware on products as road conditions, usage, loads and distances travelled may cause products to become loose.
